AKA beats up fan on stage

All Eyes on Me rapper AKA had Durban July party-goers wide-eyed on Saturday when he allegedly assaulted a fan. According to an eyewitness, AKA got up on stage to perform some of his hit singles at the Jack Daniels Boomtown Marquee.

But he was stopped in his tracks when an unknown fan got up on stage to dance with him.

Angered by the fan, AKA then allegedly kicked and pushed him off the stage.

This was also confirmed on Twitter by a user who was at the show, Vuyolwethu Mse who said: “A fan made his way on stage while AKA was performing Jealousy, AKA cut the music and literately kicked this guy and pushed him off the stage.”

His management Rafael Benza dismissed the claims.

“Were you there? There’s no such thing, there are videos of the performance that show that none of that happened. Write what you want,” he said before hanging up.

Fans were left shocked and disappointed at the rapper’s actions.

It is also alleged that AKA continued with his performance like nothing happened but fans stopped paying attention to him and most of them just sat down and watched him from their seats.

Other fans who witnessed the alleged assault took to Twitter to express their disbelief at what they saw. —Daily Sun.
