He has also received an undisclosed amount as sign-on fees for the one-year-long deal.
Speaking after a signing ceremony yesterday, Saintfloew said he is looking forward to working with Virgin Music Group.
“I believe this is the beginning of a great relationship that will push our work.
“I’m excited to partner with Virgin Music Group and push our work to the world,” said Saintfloew.
Saintfloew has revealed he has worked with a number of artists on the forthcoming project.
“Today is a special day welcoming Saintfloew to the Virgin Music Family.
“He is a phenomenal artist with a very bright future ahead of him, and we are ready to do our bit in taking his Zimbabwean magic to the world,” said Gareth Wilson, A&R at Virgin Music Family.
Virgin Music Group, which is owned by Universal Music Group, has since 2022 been known for supporting independent artists and record labels bringing in a wealth of experience and resources.
The group’s first assignment will be distributing Saintfloew’s album after October 12.
The musician who has been sampling songs off the new album at his shows feels he has struck the right chords. His last album-Rise and Lead- which carried 14-tracks was launched last year at the same venue.
