Alick Macheso resumes shows

Progress Chipfumo is scheduled to partner the sungura ace in what promises to be an explosive gig.
Macheso’s fans have been eagerly waiting for Macheso, popularly known as Extrabasso, to give them their first thrill for the year. The talented bassist is expected to put up a good performance in front of his ever growing and loyal fans.

Show organiser Victor Chiraga, known in entertainment circles as Godfather, said Macheso traditionally kicks off his shows at Pamuzinda, which was a vote of confidence in the venue.
“We have put everything in order to ensure that revellers will be able to enjoy their show in a serene environment,” he said.

The following day, the two will take their act to Chitungwiza Aquatic Complex, before ending the weekend with yet another show at Grand Hotel on Sunday.
Macheso is riding high with his album, Zvinoda Kutendwa, and five tracks, which include Tafadzwa and Chimoko Changu.
