ALKALINE has issued his first response to Vybz Kartel in the ongoing beef that also involved Mavado.
The Vendetta deejay released a new Vybz Kartel diss track “Ricochet” on Sunday and it has been getting a lot of response on social media. The DJ Frass-produced single is a direct response to Kartel’s previous Mavado and Alkaline diss “Round Corna.”
The incarcerated Gaza boss did drop a few lines in the single for Alka. “Kill him wid d likkle blind boy / One ina d likkle blind boy eye ball?” Vybz Kartel deejay. Let’s take a look at some of Alkaline lyrics in “Ricochet.”
“Boy step out in a di war and flop himself / A try shoot round corner and end up shot himself / Ricochet off a di wall and knock him flat / Him fell flat him fell, f***ing fool / Boy go run down the war and bait up hum friends / Bait up him family, bait up hum ends,” Alkaline deejay over a dancehall beat.
This marks the first time we see Alkaline stepping inside the boxing ring with Vybz Kartel on one side and Mavado on one side and he just getting hit in the cross fire.
But with a direct diss from the former Portmore Empire deejay, Alka was forced to respond which is part of the fabric of dancehall. — urbanislandz
