Bafana are in group A alongside Mozambique, Mali and African champions Nigeria.
Meanwhile, Steve Komphela has bounced back quickly into management and was appointed as Maritzburg United’s new coach yesterday.
He is the third coach of the season for the struggling KwaZulu-Natal club, who saw Ernst Middendorp go to Bloemfontein Celtic in October and then fired Clinton Larsen after just eight games in charge.
Komphela had been sacked by Free State Stars last month but is now in charge of his fifth different club.- Supersport.
