THE country’s up-and-coming body-builders are set to throng the Zimbabwe Music of College for this year’s edition of Mr. Novice Zimbabwe 2024 on April 6.

The contests, which are for beginners, will have several categories lined up and will attract competitors from across all the provinces.

One of the competition organiser Keith Chirimanzi said they are expecting a competitive event and urged participants to follow the stipulated rules of the competition and meet requirements.

“Participants are expected to exhibit a body that goes within the confines of a chosen category. We have body-building juniors and seniors, men’s physique, and women’s wellness.

“This being a novice competition, which is a show for first-timers we will do an athletes’ brief to assist them before they go on stage,” he said.

Their usual sponsor, Trysupps Fitness Academy, is coming in as a category sponsor and not as the main sponsor.

“This year Trysupps is on an expansion drive such that they cannot fully commit to sponsorship but are coming on board as a category sponsor. We always appreciate their services as they have stood by us since time immemorial. However, we are still welcoming sponsors to come on board and support us,” added Chirimhanzi.
