PRESIDENT Mnangagwa will today cap graduates at Chinhoyi University of Technology’s 19th graduation ceremony.

CUT announced that the graduation ceremony, to be held at the university sports ground, starts at 9am.

All graduates, their parents or guardians and invited guests should be seated by 8am, CUT said in a statement.

Mashonaland West Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution Marian Chombo said the province was ready to host the President.

This year’s graduation runs under the theme: “Championing Human Capital Development for Innovation and Industrialisation Step By Step”.

It will be broadcast live on national television, ZBCTV, CUT’s website and Facebook page.

At least 3 400 students are expected to graduate this year.

The university, which is rallying behind President Mnangagwa’s call for students to help build the nation through solutions that address the challenges that Zimbabwe faces, has managed to develop a lot from its Innovation Hub and Agro-Industrial Park among other initiatives.
