Zimbabwe Agriculture Society general manager Mr Les Mallet said most exhibitors were ready for the event.
“We are almost 98 percent ready for the show and by Friday most exhibitors will be ready,” he said.
ZAS, agriculture produce chairman, Mr Ivan Craig, said this year about 350 farmers were expected to participate. He said farmers were ready for the event and were expected to arrive starting tomorrow.
Mr Craig said judging of agriculture produce would be done on the first day of the show when the produce would still be fresh. A number of farmers have raised concern over the prizes being offered at the show, which they said were discouraging considering the effort they would have put to exhibit.
Mr Craig said ZAS was finalising the prizes.
