Allan misses out on Seychelles gig

Seychelles because of his seemingly perennial passport problems.
The group was scheduled to perform at the three-day Victoria Cultural Festival which opened on Friday.

The embattled Allan could not travel with the group and was spotted at the memorial service for Minister Webster Shamu’s mother on Friday at a funeral parlour in Harare.
When contacted for comment, Allan did not want to talk.

However, the “Sonny” hitmaker has had a brush with the law in the past  after he was detained by immigration authorities in England because of his tattered passport.

Last year, he had to approach the Zimbabwe Consulate for an Emergency Travel Document after he was stranded in London after the authorities picked some irregularities on his passport.

In 2009, a United Kingdom-based promoter dumped him soon after he staged two shows in London and Leicester.

Allan decided to join Sulu mid last year in the wake of waning fortunes and the resurgence               of Tryson Chimbetu as a force within dendera music  as well as his acrimonious relationship with his son, Douglas.
