Advance in technology has seen teenagers facing a lot of issues.
Drug abuse, early indulgence in sexual activities, teenage pregnancies and depression are some of the issues we face in today’s society.
However, our elders should understand that we are victims of technological development.
Digital communication has changed the way we interact with our elders and peers.
As a result we lack essential interpersonal communication skills.
Personally, I spend hours on Instagram and WhatsApp despite the fact that I am a student.
I have to admit that this has reduced my performance in school.
Drug abuse is another issue teenagers are facing as they try to find comfort in alcohol and drugs.
We should find other ways to deal with our problems, for instance joining school clubs and speaking to our parents about our challenges.
Another issue that we face is early indulgence in sexual activities.
Some teenagers think that not having a boyfriend or girlfriend is not dope and this has resulted in some engaging in sexual activities.
There is nothing wrong with you not being in a sexual relationship.
As teenagers, we need to identify what is good and what is bad for us and our future.
This will ensure that we are focused on our goals.
We are the leaders of tomorrow.
