The Piano Cuzzle event brought the Zimbabwe International Exhibition Centre to life over the weekend, with the grounds transformed into a sea of orange, energy, and electric Amapiano vibes.

Young revellers, especially the vibrant Ama2k generation, flooded the venue in numbers for a night that fused music, fashion, and urban culture, with Jägermeister proudly backing the party.

From the get-go, the atmosphere was electric. DJs brought fire to the decks, and the dancefloor responded with nonstop movement. DJ Wellyonz ignited the crowd with a high-energy set, commanding the dancefloor with infectious beats and tempo. DJ Sfiso followed with a mix of the latest Amapiano hits and familiar anthems, but many in the crowd felt her set lacked the much-needed oomph to maintain the momentum.

Crazy Dee kept the bar high with explosive remixes, while Umlungu Omnyama’s seamless transitions took the audience on a sonic journey. Other DJs, including Mtha Breezy 7, Brze Official, Ubhuti Ontsundu, DJ Mellow, DJ Sida, Molli 488, and Pyce, kept the tempo rising into the early hours.

Holding the night together was MC MTKay Ntwana, who owned the stage with his infectious charisma and powerful crowd engagement.

Adding to the flair were fashion models who strutted between sets, showcasing bold streetwear under orange spotlights. From sunglasses to braids, sneakers to bandanas, orange was the night’s unifying theme.

As the curtain fell, the party shifted to Cosmopolitan for the official after-party, where the celebration continued into the night.

University student Craig Nxumalo praised the event: “It was impeccably organised and thoroughly entertaining. The venue was well-managed, and the vibe was welcoming. We hope to see even bigger things at the next edition.”

The Piano Cuzzle was more than just a concert; it was an experience, a movement, and a cultural statement.
