In the comedy play a man returns from the Diaspora having been exposed to different life environments and turns his family life upside down.
This is Thabani first play with a cast of seven young talented actors drawn from across the theatre industry in Bulawayo most of whom are first timers who seek to write and grow their CVs in the theatre industry.
The ‘Plays on Sunday’s’ segment starts at 4pm every Sunday at the cultural centre and all plays are followed by a presentation by a respondent to the play and sharing of experiences for the young first timers by a seasoned guest theatre personality with audience participation.
The segment was launched in line with the cultural center’s 2010-2014 Growth Strategic Plan. According to the plan the theatre’s nurturing platform will begin in 2013.
Thabani’s play will be followed by “Khayalami My Home”, that was written, directed and produced by Miccain Sikhosana, which will be premiered on the 25th of November.
