Local fans of South African amapiano are set to get a treat next week when the genre’s superstar Kabza De Small performs at the Hippodrome in Harare.
Kabza, who will be accompanied by his longtime partner and fellow amapiano maestro, DJ Maphorisa, is expected to set the city alight with the electrifying beats that have earned him fame across Africa and beyond.
This much-anticipated concert, organised by Mashwede Holdings, promises an unforgettable fusion of local and international talent.
Dubbed the “Scorpion Kings”, the event will see an impressive lineup of Zimbabwean stars that will share the stage with Kabza and Maphorisa.
The local stars Tammy Moyo, hip-hop sensation Holy 10, and dancehall powerhouse Master H are expected to add unique flavours to the night.
Other supporting acts include MC Tatts, Ryan Synth, Rax The DJ, Ironiq and Luckie D, all promising to create a night of genre-blending excitement that celebrates Zimbabwe’s rich musical diversity.
The organiser, Tendai Mashamhanda said they are pulling all stops to ensure the event surpasses expectations.
“We are thrilled to bring this experience to Harare. This event is more than music; it is about culture and bringing people together. We are expecting fans from across Harare and beyond. “The response has already been overwhelming, and we can confidently say this will be one of the biggest events Harare has seen in recent times.”
