ANC Treasurer General Dr Gwen Ramokgopa paid a courtesy call on President Mnangagwa at State House in Harare today.
Speaking to the media after her closed door meeting with the President, Dr Ramokgopa said she was in the country to share notes with the Zanu PF leadership on ways of encouraging progressive businesses to participate in various party initiatives.
She said she first met with the President before meeting Zanu PF Treasurer General, Cde Patrick Chinamasa.
“It was a very positive, courteous visit to His Excellency,” she said.
Dr Ramokgopa said Zimbabwe and South Africa enjoy cordial relations.
“We have very great relations, historically forged in the struggle for freedom of the two countries.
“When I was a young health student, I was inspired by the strong public health system, especially the primary health care system that Zimbabwe built post-liberation,” she said.
