But the move fell through after Paris Saint-Germain demanded an eye-watering £338million transfer fee.

However, L’Equipe claims the Ligue 1 champs almost cashed in on Mbappe two years ago, shortly after he signed his new contract.

Mbappe requested a late exit and that saw bids arrive from both Liverpool and Real.
