UNITED Kingdom-based singer Blessing ‘‘Annatoria’’ Chitapa, Tembalami and The Unveiled are set to headline Travis Greene’s “Made A Way” Decade World Tour when it rolls into Zimbabwe.
Annatoria took to her social media platforms to express her excitement about the event.
“I feel exceptionally grateful and honoured to be opening for the phenomenal Travis Greene.
“Who knew this opportunity would come?
“My fellow gospel people, come let’s give the Lord praise.” The tour is also a celebration of 10 years of Travis Greene’s powerful and inspiring song, “Made A Way”.
The hit song is from his album, ‘The Hill’, which was released in 2015.
Through the track, the American singer celebrates encountering God’s presence in a way that renews, strengthens and deepens his relationship with Him.
The 2017 Billboard Music Award for Top Gospel Song winner is also well known for hits such as ‘‘Won’t Let Go’’, ‘‘Intentional’’, ‘‘Good & Loved (feat. Steffany Gretzinger)’’ and ‘‘You Waited and Still Here’’.
The other supporting acts are Forward City Music, Kaestings and the Nigerian sensation Grace Idowu.
Greene is set to return to Harare for the third time on July 18.
He will use the visit to celebrate the 11th birthday anniversary of his son.
Greene said Zimbabwe was his home away from home.
“I cannot believe it’s been 10 years, a whole decade since the release of my song ‘Made a Way’. It just began as a song between my wife and me as we were praying and praising God for the miracle of my son, who’s about to turn 11 years-old and this song took the world by storm.
“There have been so many testimonies, so many stories about how people were touched by the song. So, to celebrate 10 years, a full decade, I’m going on a world tour, I’m going across the entire globe singing and sharing the good news about Jesus Christ.
“It wouldn’t be a tour if I don’t come to Zimbabwe, you guys are like my second family . . . I can’t wait to see you there.”
