Anne Nhira rekindles love for acting

the film industry.
The film hit South African screens in October last year and has received rave reviews.
“The Rapist” is about the tribulations of a South African young woman, Siphokazi Beya who is gang- raped.

In a country where at least 60 000 rape cases are reported each year, the film seeks to make awareness campaign and highlight the emotional trauma which is faced by the victims.

Anne rose to fame after her role as Vimbai in Studio 263. She left the soap in a huff and joined the great trek to South Africa where she was reportedly doing something else far away from the career that gave her fame.
