BARELY a few months after a very successful Gwanda Gospel Show, another mega gospel concert is set to be held in the mining town today at Brethren in Christ Church.
Knowledge Nkiwane, the organiser of today’s concert seems to have borrowed a leaf from Big Time Strategic group which set the mining town alive a few months back with the Gwanda Gospel show. Nkiwane also seeks to offer best gospel entertainment and spiritual upliftment.
Dubbed the Mega Live Concert, the music fete will feature several artistes including One way to heaven, Dedmos Moyo, Thembani Dube, Innocent Nyoni, Dumisani Sebata and The Nations.
Nkiwane will also use the concert to launch his latest 14-track solo album titled Uvukile ULazaro which he launched in South Africa last week.
“The album launch is a response to a request made by my fans from Gwanda to launch locally. I’ve more fans in this hometown of mine than anywhere else in Zimbabwe and I appreciate their support,” Nkiwane said.
He said performing at the Gwanda Gospel show along ‘A’ list of SA artistes had catapulted him to fame as more people are now keen to watch him perform.
“To those who missed my performance at the Gwanda Gospel festival, I’m giving you another opportunity to witness God’s works. When I go on stage, I give it my best so people should expect the best.”
