DOTITO Growth Point in Mashonaland Central Province will host the Anti-Sanctions Music Concert tomorrow.

The event will be held under the theme “Harnessing the Youth for Accelerated Socio-Economic Development in the Fight Against Sanctions.”

An array of top performers, led by Suluman Chimbetu, Sandra Ndebele and Mark Ngwazi will entertain the fans.

Mutare-based gospel diva Dorcas Moyo, Chief Hwenje, Jah Signal, Gift Yobe, Romeo Gasa, Brian Mteki, Jah Master, Shantel Sithole, Chillspot Family (DJ Fantan, Ribhe and Levels), Simon Mutambi and Clemence Magwaza are also part of the event.

The gig will be held from 6pm to 6am.

Judging by the line-up, it promises to be a night of fun where top musicians will be adding their voices against illegal sanctions imposed on Zimbabwe.

The Anti-Sanctions Day has been marked every October 25 since 2019.

Mark Ngwazi

African leaders endorsed the day in 2019 in solidarity with Zimbabwe.

Suluman is a tried-and-tested performer who hardly disappoints at such events.

The same goes for Chief Hwenje and Ngwazi who are famed for their polished performances.

Ageless Sandra Ndebele is no stranger to such events where she has always caught the eye.

Jah Master and Jah Signal will cater for the Zim dancehall fans.

Sungura lovers have Mutambi, Gasa and Magwaza to entertain them. Mteki will be reuniting with fans at such big occasions.

The versatile singer has been busy with other commitments in the past years although he never quit music.

It will be another big event for the province, which hosted the Independence Gala in April.
