GOOD performances by teenage winger, Bill Antonio, in the Chibuku Super Cup, has opened the way for more youngsters at Dynamos.

The Glamour Boys have added two more teenagers to their roster.

Antonio has been one of the stand-out performers, for coach Tonderai Ndiraya’s charges, in the Chibuku Super Cup.

The tournament has been put on hold due to a spike in Covid-19 cases, in the country.

The Prince Edward prodigy started five of the six matches played by Dynamos and has helped the Harare giants move to the top of Group A.

Ndiraya has since signed the pair of Claivert Rodgers Tshuma and Stephen Chatikobo, who are both 17.

Like Antonio, the pair are also from the official Dynamos feeder nursery, Prince Edward Academy.

The Glamour Boys already have two other products from the academy, Luke Musukiri and Hamilton Gomba, on their books.

“I have no doubt that the duo will be of great value to the club,” said Ndiraya.

“I have watched them over and over and I am convinced they are good players who can fit well into the system.

“You can look at Bill (Antonio). He has proven to be a good player, and fitted well in the team, so far.

“That can give these youngsters some belief, coming into the big time.

“The good thing is the youngsters already know what it means to be at Dynamos, given they have been with the feeder academy.”

The Glamour Boys have also promoted goalkeeper, Tanyaradzwa Jinja, and midfielder, Albert Manenji, into the senior team.

The two have been training with the club and their patience has finally been rewarded.

In a statement, Dynamos spokesperson, Yvonne Mangunda, said the quartet are set to be registered with the PSL.

“Dynamos Football Club submitted application documents to the Premier Soccer League for the registration of four new players, during the second transfer window, that closed on the 31st of July.

“All four players are products of the junior development program,” read the statement.
