APOSTLE SAMBO’S YOUTH GOSPEL

LIFE coach, counsellor and gospel artist, Apostle Paul Sambo, yesterday urged young people to fully embrace the National Youth Day celebrations and take lessons from their elders.

This year’s edition took place at Mushagashe Youth Vocational Centre, just outside Masvingo, yesterday.

And, Apostle Sambo hailed the Government for setting aside a special day dedicated to the youths.

“It’s a special day that we will always cherish over the years to come. As a counsellor and life coach,  I deal with most youngsters who are having challenges in life.

“We are giving them counselling to help them fight their demons.

“I was glad that we now have a day dedicated to them and we can’t ask for more from the Government.”

He added:

“What makes this day special is that the President gets an opportunity to interface with the young people hearing their stories.

“At the moment the issue that we want to address is drug and substance abuse, which has been declared a national disaster.

“I have been using my influence to address the issue as well as using music to denounce these and other issues.

“We need to keep the young people busy so that they don’t indulge in drugs.

“I will continue recording songs that address these issues as well as provide counselling for free to those in despair.”

Apostle Sambo is doing well with his album Anopindura Minamato, whose title track finished in third place on the Star FM gospel charts last year.

He also collaborated with Rumbie Zvirikuze and Reverend Toggy Chivaviro.

Apostle Sambo is also set to release a single, before Easter, titled PaGolgota.
