BIG CROWD AT MUSICIANS’ FOOTBALL GALA

THERE was a huge crowd at Alex Sports Club yesterday when it hosted a football tournament featuring musicians.

The tournament was organised by Nash Paints who pumped in US$5000 towards the event.

It was a bigger crowd than those which are usually seen in domestic Premiership matches.

“I think this shows once again that people love football but the PSL isn’t giving us the package that can entice us to come to the stadiums,” said one fan.

“You can see the cooler boxes here, which are full of drinks but this is not allowed at PSL matches.

“It feels like you are going into a prison when you go to the PSL matches and its leaders should know that it’s not just the football that we will be looking for but company and fun.”
