He said this during the first UFIC pastors certification and ordination ceremony in Chitungwiza on Sunday. A total of 22 pastors were ordained. The ceremony was attended by more than 35 000 people including Minister Chombo, Tourism and Hospitality Minister Walter Mzembi, Zimbabwe Tourism Authority chief executive Karikoga Kaseke and businessman Phillip Chiyangwa.

“I want to make a plea in front of these people that if you (Minister Chombo) give us a piece of land we will use it well,” Makandiwa said.

He said they had plans to build a 100 000-seater church. He thanked Minister Chombo for the support he was continuing to give to the church.

“We also thank you for supporting us in the battles that we encountered,” Makandiwa said.

Prophet Makandiwa said this especially with reference to the stand issue that they were once embroiled in with Chitungwiza council.
