FRESH from their famous win over CAPS United, Herentals were immediately brought back to earth when struggling Arenel Movers surprised them in a Castle Lager Premier Soccer League tie at Rufaro yesterday.

The Students were on Sunday, left on a high after Godfrey Mukambi’s solitary goal did the damage on CAPS United.

But Arenel had other ideas when they arrived at Rufaro yesterday.

They gave new coach Philani “Beefy” Ncube a perfect welcome with a surprise win that eased their relegation woes.

Ncube was taking charge of his first game since his appointment earlier in the week.

A league win has been elusive for Arenel.

Their last win came against Bikita Minerals on April 6. The win took them to 14 points.

Goals from Brian Jaravaza in the 12th minute and Dalububhle Dlodlo in the 53rd minute were enough to seal the visitors’ win.

A consolation goal from John Zhuwawo was not enough to change the fortunes of his side.

Ncube admitted that Herentals had given them a run for their money.
