MATCH DAY 23 of the Zifa Southern Region Division One League will probably decide the league winners as log leaders Arenel travel to Hwange to face second placed ZPC Hwange.
Five points separate Kudzai Mhandire’s Arenel and Njabulo Dube’s side and as such the clash is expected to be a blockbuster given that both teams won their last games.
Arenel striker Stanson Khanye is confident that his team will collect maximum points when the two teams meet at Chakona Stadium.
“They have prepared very well for us and we have also done the same. We are going to a place where I believe coming out with something or even a point will be very good for us but what we want is a win.
“We have the talent in our squad and we will fight to collect maximum points,” said Khanye.
A victory for Arenel will mean a step closer to glory as they would have opened an eight point gap while victory for their opponents will mean that they will be two points behind the leaders and would have piled pressure on them, potentially pressing panic buttons for other teams.
ZPC will also be hoping to gain revenge as they were beaten 3-0 in the first round at White City Stadium by Arenel.
