ARMED robbers raided two private clinics where they terrorised nurses and patients and stole cash and belongings in Kuwadzana and Whitehouse.
Three armed robbers raided Blue Waters Private Clinic where they found a female nurse Sarah Nyambi, 42, attending to three patients at the reception.
The robbers ordered Sarah and the patients to lie down.
They searched them and stole three Samsung cell phones.
They then stole US$71 from the counter and a Samsung cell phone which belonged to the company.
On the same day, four armed robbers pounced at Oartlands Road Whitehouse 24 HR Medical Centre where they terrorised two staff members, and patients, demanding cash.
One of the patients, Takudzwa Buzuzu, 29, lost his Toyota Baby Quantum (AGZ 0503), US$120 and a Samsung A15.
Harare provincial police spokesperson, Inspector Luckmore Chakanza, confirmed the cases saying a total of US$14 020 was stolen.
“Police are investigating two armed robbery cases where two private clinics lost cash at night in Kuwadzana and Whitehouse.
“Clinic staff members and patients were terrorised and lost their belongings,” said Insp Chakanza.
