Nyasha Kada
RISING RnB singer,, has urged young people to stay away from toxic relationships.
Born Akudzweishe Makoni, the 22-year-old said too many young lives are being lost due to toxic relationships.
This inspired him to pen a song titled “Too Late” produced by Rodney Cleanshizzle.
It is accompanied with visuals directed by Director Dave.
“The song is about a guy moving on from a poisonous ex who cheated on him. The motive is to move on from certain setbacks.
“It is inspired by news of young people committing suicide and some ending up in drugs because of heartbreaks.
“Some are lured back to those toxic relationships and continue being hurt in anticipation of a change which never comes.
“This also affects all those who are close to them, like parents and siblings, yet one should just accept the fallout and move towards a new door soon to open.”
Akay, a talented voice on the rise, said his music journey has been tough but is beginning to show light at the end of the tunnel.
“There is a lot of competition out there and a lot of discouragement.
“The last few years, people have barely been noticing my music but now I have seen that there is positive feedback where people are now giving an ear to my music and making TikTok challenges out of it.
“I give thanks to the Almighty and my family’s unwavering support through all this.
“I also want to say to my fans, we are together in this, let’s not fail each other.”
