Registration for auditions began last Friday and will end tomorrow.
Gifted individuals who make it to the final select will go on a nationwide tour to promote the gospel music genre and also preach the gospel through music.
One of the organisers Shingi Nyatsambo, said they were looking for singers, dancers and those who can play musical instruments.
He said they were looking for eight individuals who are to make up Afro-Praize gospel group.
Nyatsambo said the initiative is set to promote talented musicians in gospel music.
“When people think of gospel music they tend to focus more on the choir aspect of it.
“It is amazing how one can do a gospel piece on a ragga note, instrumentally, through rap music, dancing and singing,” he said.
Nyatsambo said if people of various talents are merged, a wider audience would be catered for.
“If we can merge a guitarist, singer, dancer and rapper into one group then the audience would be well catered for,” Nyatsambo said.
Talented hopefuls can register for auditions at Bulawayo Centre in the courtyard and the Academy of Music.
