A’Zambezi scoops top award

This is the second consecutive time that A‘Zambezi has received an award from TripAdvisor after it scooped the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence Award last year.

This endorsement positions the   A’Zambezi River Lodge among the top 10 percent of all businesses on TripAdvisor.com, a travel blog.
TripAdvisor is the most popular and largest travel community in the world, with more than 32 million members and over 75 million reviews and opinions of hotels, restaurants, attractions and other travel-related businesses.

It awards hotels and lodges certificates of service excellence based on feedback from the hotels/lodges guests. 
The Service Excellence Award is a great achievement as it is only given to a few selected hotels that manage to attain the very best in the business are awarded a Certificate of Excellence.

According to a statement issued by RTG, the development is timely as it comes at a time when the group has recently unveiled its service promise of  “refreshing hotels, amazing experiences”.

“The group has made significant strides in ensuring that the Rainbow brand value offering becomes a reality for all its guests. When you book in any hotel under the Rainbow Tourism Group banner, you are definitely guaranteed of exceptional and consistent service delivery always.

“As RTG continues to position itself as the leading provider of refreshing hotels and amazing experiences in the Zimbabwean hospitality sector, developments such as these 
reflect  positively on the group’s service delivery quality levels, product and systems and processes being implemented that will enable the group to continue delivering value to its  customers,” said the group.

It has undergone several transformations in 2012 that will see the hospitality player repositioning itself competitively in the marketplace during the course of 2013.
“RTG is indeed excited about the efforts being made to improve the hospitality player’s service quality levels, product portfolio and efficiencies that will see all its customers benefiting immensely,” it said.

TripAdvisor.com is a travel website that assists customers in gathering travel information, posting reviews and opinions of travel-related content and engaging in interactive travel forums. It operates 17 travel brands.

It also operates websites internationally, including in the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Ireland, Germany, Italy, Spain,
India, Japan, Portugal, Brazil, Sweden, the Netherlands, Canada, Denmark, Turkey, Mexico, Norway, Poland, Australia, Singapore, Thailand, Russia, Greece, Indonesia and China.
