JITI musician Baba Harare will on Saturday August 22, serenade fans in the Matabeleland region as he publicly performs live for the first time his track Sisi Viola, in Matabeleland South provincial capital Gwanda.
Known for its lyrical chant “Tsa Tsa Tsa”, the track has become a favourite nationwide creating dance challenges across social media platforms.
From the Chibuku Neshamwari Traditional Festival, the Harare edition of the Doek and Slay to the recent Econet Chakachaya promotion perfomance in Beitbridge, Baba Harare is unstoppable.
He is set to share the stage with Raymer, Khoi Khoi and Zhezhingtons at an event dubbed the “Gwanda Agricultural Show Shutdown” set for Phoenix Shisanyama.
MC Freddy and Rich Flavour will take care the business of hyping the crowd while DJ Virus, DJ Mbobstar, DJ Keitho, DJ Blvck Operator, DJ Oskiz and DJ TMT will take turns to prove their flair on the decks.
One of the organisers DJ Keitho said the event serves as a great platform for winding up a fruitful agricultural show.
“From settling good business deals and increasing visibility among individuals and companies, this is a great space for them to celebrate away from formal setup.
“The lineup is of diverse genres and will sooth each attendees taste of music,” said DJ Keitho.
