BULAWAYO is reeling in shock following the sudden death of popular radio personality and entertainer Babongile Sikhonjwa.
The fun-loving media darling, who was a household name on the airwaves and on stage, reportedly succumbed to a short illness in the early hours of Sunday morning.
According to unconfirmed reports, Sikhonjwa was rushed to hospital but could not make it.
Social media was immediately flooded with tributes as fans, fellow artists, and listeners shared memories of his infectious laughter and bold personality.
“He was a larger-than-life character who brought energy wherever he went,” said one heartbroken fan.
