AFTER having been involved in another “clean-up operation” in the South African motocross circuit last weekend, Zimbabwean junior rider Emmanuel Bako will once again be the centre of attraction when he takes part in the KZN Regional/Club Championship in Pietermaritzburg on Sunday.

Bako has since the beginning of this year been riding frequently in South Africa where he has so far taken part in two Northern Regions Championship series race meetings and one National event, coming out tops in all his races in the 65cc Class.

He opened his campaign in South Africa this year by getting the top step on the podium at the end of the opening round of the South African Northern Regions Championship series at Sand Trax in Sasolburg on February 3 and he followed this up by sweeping the opposition away in the same 65cc Class during round one of the 2018 South African Nationals at Rover in Port Elizabeth on February 17.
