The African championships and the Zone VI competition are being run at the same time as a development programme for the upcoming gymnast in the Zone VI. Vice-president of the Zimbabwe Gymnastics Association, Chris Muchatuta, said they have ensured that the participants practice their routines fully in preparation for the big competition ahead.

“The participants have been training hard and have perfectly done their routines during the training,” he said.
