PHINEAS Bamusi is finding himself again and is dreaming of seeing CAPS United finishing strongly in the league as well as fight for Chibuku Super Cup glory.

The 33-year-old has since found his touch and he has created almost half of the goals the Green Machine have scored in their six-match unbeaten run in all competitions.

Bamusi ruthlessly unleashed his powers against Highlanders in a Premiership match helping the Harare giants to a come-from-behind 3-2 victory at Rufaro.

“First of all, I would like to thank my coach Lloyd Chitembwe. He really understands his players and knows how to get the best out of them and I would like to salute him for that,” said Bamusi.

“I endured a lot of frustration last season and that was actually the worst time I have seen in my career. I was terribly off my bearings and it was hard.

“But the coach was very patient with me and he even recommended a contract extension for me. I am happy that I am getting back to my best and enjoying the game again.

“I am trying hard and my teammates are equally trying their best as well. The ambition is to be able to finish the season strongly, maybe in the top four, if we can be consistent. But we really want to taste glory in the Chibuku Super Cup.

“Ngezi Platinum Stars are a very good side but we are going there to try and win. Everyone in the group is keen to succeed in the Chibuku Super Cup”.
