BancABC Cricket Week teams receive kits

Tuesday evening.

The second edition of the tournament features all the five franchises, and a Development Select XI made up of players from Mashonaland Eagles and Matabeleland Tuskers.
Handing over the kits to Zimbabwe Cricket for all the participating teams, BancABC deputy managing director, Terence Mudangwe, said they valued their partnership with ZC.

“We are proud to be associated with Zimbabwe Cricket and, in part, the Under-13 Week. As a social responsibility one of our focus area is children.
“We are committed to supporting sport development in Zimbabwe and it is our hope that the juniors will excel in the sport and one day fly the country’s flag high.

“I urge the children to pursue their dream with confidence and conquer in their pursuits.
“We are happy our relationship with ZC is mutual and for the second year we have unveiled the kits for cricket week,” Mudangwe said.

Zimbabwe cricket representative, Titus Zvomuya, urged more companies to emulate BancABC who have become a leading sponsor of sport in this country.
The bank also sponsors football.

“With the help of BancABC our standards have improved very much and we appreciate what they have done for us.

“The children will enjoy the game when they are well kited and we also thank the company for its commitment to the sport.
“It is our hope that we will have a good team from the stars which we are grooming from here. The juniors are key for the future and we will continue to work hard with these children,” Zvomuya said.
