Mudzingwa opened a US$20 BancABC account during the promotion and won the car in a draw during the final, which pitted Highlanders and Motor Action at Barbourfields.
The mother of one was still in a state of shock when BancABC managing director Hashmon Matemera presented her with the car keys at the Celebration Centre.
“I could not believe it when I was phoned that I had won the car and until now I am still in a state of shock.
“I just opened an account with BancABC and proceeded to Bulawayo where I had other business therefore entering the competition.
“I did not know that it was the beginning of big things in my life as I received the call that I had won while at work and could not believe it.
“It was after a few consultations that I found that I had won,” said Mudzingwa.
Matemera said the tournament was changing peoples’ lives.
“We can safely say our tournament was a great success this year.
“The tournament went on for four months and we managed to give spot prizes in all the venues that the matches were played from day one.
“The other prizes include fridges, generators, television sets, and bicycles.
“I also say congratulation to Mudzingwa who, out of the 7 000 people, came out with the first prize.
“We have also managed to give our winner another complimentary prize of a house mortgage.
“We will continue to support sport and our clients,” said Matemera.
