BANKET United will look to maintain their impressive form when they face newcomers FC Oden in a highly anticipated ZIFA Northern Region Soccer League Division One match in Chinhoyi this on Thursday.

Head coach Lloyd Charamba is confident that they can deliver a strong performance against a formidable opponent.

“We are facing a team with one of the best mentors in the ZIFA Northern Region Soccer League, and we are looking forward to do our best,” Charamba said.

“It is a derby, so it can go either way, but we are positive,” he added

Despite parting ways with key players Ackson Labani and Zulu, Charamba believes that Banket ‘s young players are ready to shine. Lorenzo Charamba, Tadiwanashe Gatsi, Tatenda Lungisani, and Adrian Mazingi are among the youngsters who could feature in the match.

“We have youngsters whom we are banking on. We are not fearing FC Oden at all, and we are not treating this match as a walkover. We are going to play our normal game.”

With no injuries to worry about, Charamba is relying on in-form players.

“We are banking on Tyler Manika and Nickson Baraira to lead our family attack,” he said.

“It’s going to be a good game and we are ready to go into battle.”
