Barca win 24th title

BARCELONA have been crowned Primera Division champions for the 24th time after a Luis Suarez hat-trick saw them to a 3-0 win at Granada. Barca had gone into their final game of the season with a one-point advantage over second-placed Real Madrid and they made no mistake at Los Carmenes as they claimed victory for a fifth successive game.

Suarez scored his first on 22 minutes with a tap-in from close range from Jordi Alba’s cross, and he headed a second before the break from Dani Alves’ cross to take his La Liga tally. The Uruguay star wrapped up a successful afternoon with his 40th La Liga goal of the season after good work from Neymar. — ESPN
