Depleted DeMbare face Ngezi
DYNAMOS, who have been missing key players of late due to suspensions, will still go into battle against Ngezi Platinum depleted.
This time around they will miss their best player, Frank Agyemang, who was sent off against Hardrock.
But coach Aristica Cioaba believes those available will do the job.
“I am confident because I have the 20 players in my squad. I have been the coach for three months. I give the chance to any player to play,” said Cioaba.
“I am very happy another player (Dzakpasu) who did not play the last two games is coming back into the squad and will try to help the team.”
Two other players, Collin Mujuru and captain Shadreck Nyahwa, are reportedly suspended by the club on disciplinary grounds.
“It’s important for our team to have everyone around because all the players are important. We will try our best, we will try our best in the game. You know, I do not have a big squad at the moment.”
Kawondera chance to add to tally
Herentals utility player Ralph Kawondera has a chance to increase his goals tally when they face FC Platinum at Rufaro.
Kawondera is on 12 goals, five behind top scorer Washington Navaya.
In FC Platinum, however, they face a very solid opponent who gives little away.
Four time league champions FC Platinum have registered eight out of 15 points in their last five games.
They have vastly improved since the arrival of South African gaffer Thabo Senong end of July.
FC Platinum are 10th with 40 points and are now fighting for at least a top 8 finish.
Rufaro stadium is virtually empty as we head towards kick off.
It’s Herentals v FC Platinum at the ceremonial home of football.
