Zimdancehall artistes Bazooker from Harare and Jah Practice from Bulawayo are set to take centre stage at the Mangoma Explosion event scheduled for February 2 in Bulawayo.

Joining the headline acts will be rising artistes King Adiza, Ras Tekken, and Bovas, with the musical vibes managed by DJs Eazy Vert, Barbar, and Gaddafi. The event, happening at #ashtag will offer a special discount for varsity and college-going students.

Organisers, Scorpions, represented by spokesperson Nokulunga Dube, expressed their intention to use the gig as a platform to showcase and support local emerging artistes within the genre.

“This marks our first show of the year, and we aim to elevate the experience by featuring artistes who resonate well with the youth. We encourage the youth to join us in numbers, unwind, and enjoy the start of the new year,” stated Dube. – @mthabisi_mthire
