BBA Hotshots in final eviction

BIG Brother Africa Hotshots enters the final eviction night on Sunday to leave the house with five-finalists, of which, Zimbabwe’s representative Butterphly booked her place after escaping nomination. Butterphly, Nhlanhla (South Africa), M’am Bea (Ghana) and this week’s Head of House Macky2 (Zambia) are safe from eviction, which means they book a place in the final five. This leaves one spot for all the eight housemates up for eviction on Sunday, unless Biggie decides otherwise on the evening.
Biggie put up all the remaining 12 housemates for nomination this week and said there was no immunity.

After Sunday’s eviction the reality show will be down to the last week and grand finale completing 63 days.
Because of the delay to start season nine after the fire incident, this year’s show was cut to 63 days from the traditional 90 days.

In this week’s nominations Trezagah was automatic, while the highest nominated, respectively, were Tayo – 4, Macky2 – 4, Sheillah – 3, Goitse – 3, Sipe – 3, Idris – 3, JJ – 2, Nhlanhla – 1, Butterphly – 1, M’am Bea – 0, Ellah-0, Trezagah-0.

As HOH Macky2 saved himself and put up Ellah (Uganda) instead, whilst Trezagah (Mozambique) was an automatic nomination as part of his punishment for breaking the freeze rule.

It will definitely be interesting to see how Africa votes this week in the final eviction and save one country representative for a shot to clinch the $300 000 prize.
Butterphly’s survival into the finalists comes as a surprise after she drew a lot of criticism in the early stages of the reality show as a ‘‘snoozer’’, being viewed as ‘‘boring’’ and ‘‘too quiet’’.

Fans on the BBA Facebook platform would question how she had survived this far, while entertainers like Alusa, Lilian and Esther had been evicted.
