Every day we have seen our first-line responders like our healthcare workers and others, sacrificing their lives to care for us.
We want to thank them for all they are doing. Could there be anything greater than this kind of compassion?
Let us in turn practice compassion to each other in our families, workplaces and communities.
Being compassionate to each other restores people to the fullness of love and loving vitality. During this challenging time, let us be filled with and extend all-embracing care.
Let us be tender-hearted. Remember, we are fully human when we show compassion toward each other, when we see others in the truth of their experiences and are moved to respond with love, care, justice and kindness. (Ephesians 4:32). — Dr Mazvita Machinga: Africa University.
