INFORMAL traders in Mutare have been urged to comply with the stipulated times while they wait for consideration and approval by the responsible authorities to extend operating hours at fruit and vegetable markets around the city.

Mutare Informal Traders Association chairperson Mr Itai Kariparire said operating times have been adjusted as part of measures aimed at curtailing the spread of Covid-19 in line with recommended health guidelines by the Ministry of Health and Child Care and World Health Organisation.

He warned those involved in illegal vending on the streets that they risk running into trouble with the law.
