Be disciplined, soldiers told

Brig-Gen Diye replaced Brig-Gen Eliah Bandama in January this year. Brig-Gen Bandama  was posted to Manicaland’s Three Infantry Brigade.

Brig-Gen Diye encouraged soldiers to portray a good image so that members of the public would always think positively about them.
Brig-Gen Diye pointed out that there were three key areas that he expected his command to execute diligently without doubt.

The areas are proper execution of military duties as directed from time to time, good administration of subordinates and the proper maintenance of equipment given.
On social issues the commander urged his soldiers to solve their problems within the parameters of the organisational structures.

He said there were procedures to be followed if one was wronged by another member or by members of the public.
Brig-Gen Diye also pointed out that no one was allowed to take the law into his or her hands.
