“AND he said, Hearken, all Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem, and King Jehoshaphat: Thus says the Lord to you, Fear not, and be not dismayed at this great multitude; for the battle is not yours but God’s.” — 2 Chronicles 20:15.
Understanding that in Christ the battle has been fought and won can lead you to spontaneously respond with songs of celebration and praise.
You are in union with Christ, one spirit with Him.
His victory is yours, His success is your success.
His achievements are your achievements.
The battle is not yours. It is the Lord’s. Since you are in union with Jesus Christ, whatever comes against you, comes against Him, and has already been defeated.
He declared: “In this world you will have many tribulations but take heart (be of good cheer) for I have already overcome the world.”- John 16:33.
Yes, be of good cheer!
Praise Him for the everlasting victory over evil, the arch-enemy of your life.
The battle is not yours!
