ZIMBABWEAN forward Wisdom Mutasa says he is enjoying his football after hitting a purple patch in the Mozambican top-flight league.

Costa do Sol are in third place, with 19 points, from 11 games.

Mutasa has featured in eight matches, after missing the first games, while his transfer papers and work permit were being finalised.

He has scored four goals and wants to add more to his tally. Costa do Sol are set to play Ferroviario de Maputo in a Cup game this afternoon.

Mutasa is looking forward to the game, saying he is in the best form of his life.

“At the moment, I am enjoying my football,” he told H-Metro.

“I am in the best form of my life, which has seen me scoring after every two games, which I have played.

“It’s something that has never happened to me in my professional football career.

“I want to continue like this. It will be good for my statistics, and for the team as well.

“So, I am delighted with my consistency.

“I am looking forward to tackling tougher challenges against big teams,” he said.
