Something so trifling at the onset can become formidable in fullness. “I started with my mother’s makeup kit, and that small beginning became Beauty by Rueearn.
Your beginning doesn’t define your destination.”
Ms Ruvimbo Munda, an entrepreneurial youth – the founder of Beauty by Rueearn, convinces me the issue isn’t whether women should own businesses. It’s whether the world is ready for them.
Holding an Accounting degree from the University of Zimbabwe, she has transformed Beauty by Rueearn into a space where education meets creativity.
“I’m a makeup artist by passion, an accountant by profession and an entrepreneur by nature.
“My mission is to create clean, effortless soft glam looks that make women feel confident, beautiful, and powerful.
“My vision is to build Beauty by Rueearn into a brand that makes soft girl vibes and baddie dreams feel effortless and achievable.”
“Beauty by Rueearn represents not just makeup but a lifestyle and a feeling of softness, class, confidence, and unapologetic femininity.”
Ms Ruvimbo is driven by seeing women leave her chair feeling beautiful and confident.
“This inspires and reminds me why I started in the first place.”
“The brand was born from my passion for beauty and belief that makeup should enhance who you already are, rather than change you.”
Authenticity, independence, excellence, and genuine connection are at the heart of Beauty by Rueearn.
It’s not only the vision, but also her relationships with clients.
“I love the energy during our makeup sessions – from talking, laughing, making skits together, to having real conversations about life.
“My clients can come carrying problems; I want them to feel safe enough to relax, enjoy and be themselves in the moment.”
Beauty by Rueearn is about experience, connection, and an intimate space where ladies feel seen and celebrated.
“Jacque Mgido, Bibyonce, and Glam by Omoye are my beloved brands.
“I appreciate their creativity, confidence, and how they’ve built strong beauty brands with their own unique identities.
“I’ve learned to stay true to my vision, connect with my audience, and constantly evolve.
“What inspires me is seeing women turn their passion for beauty into powerful, globally recognised brands,” said Ms Ruvimbo.
“My mother also inspired me. I started doing makeup with her makeup kit.
“She has been part of the Beauty by Rueearn brand from the onset.”
Her support has granted her confidence and freedom to build the brand her way. Women are behind Beauty by Rueearn.
“The brand has been shaped by women who’ve supported me throughout my journey.
My mother gave me the foundation, my friends encouraged me, and my clients gave me inspiration to keep evolving.”
Ms Ruvimbo’s brand mirrors her personality – a balance of warmth, ambition, and authenticity.
“I want my brand to feel personal, welcoming, and true to who I am.”
“My education has been a huge advantage in building Beauty by Rueearn.
“Education has taught me to think beyond the creative side of beauty.
“My accounting background helps me manage finances, budget, plan, make informed decisions, and think strategically about brand growth.”
“Makeup is my passion, but my degree has given me the business foundation to turn that passion into a sustainable brand.”
“Women entering the industry struggle with capital and building loyal client bases.”
“Women need access to practical business training, mentorship, and platforms that spotlight and support their businesses. We must create opportunities where ladies learn, connect, and turn their skills into sustainable businesses.”
Her legacy:
“To be celebrated not just for makeup, but for creating genuine connections.”
“I encourage ladies to pursue education. When you combine creativity and education, you build powerful brands.”
