Hello cool teens, I guess you are enjoying your Saturday as usual. Today we are going to talk about something special, and that is; problem solving. There are problems that many people face which are sometimes hard to describe. Usually these problems make people cry, angry, and depressed. Some do not have food to eat, clothes to wear and even friends to talk to. As teenagers we see these things but what are we doing about it? I want you to know that the coolest thing in this world is to be a problem solver.
What you make happen for others God will also make it happen for you. Whenever you solve other people’s problems, God is pleased with you. It doesn’t matter the number, even if you help one person get something that he/she didn’t have, God is happy with that. Even the people you help will be pleased as well.
Solving problems must be one of our aims as teens. One day at our residence, a certain old lady came to our house, looking exhausted and hungry. She saw my dad and asked him for food, for she was starving. I admire my dad because he told me to make breakfast for the old lady despite the fact that she was not related to us. So what am I saying? I am saying that there are some things we have in abundance that some don’t have, let us help those people guys.
When someone is confused or bemused, it’s good to give that person assistance if you can. In class at school, maybe your classmate doesn’t understand something that you know, it’s being brave to go and help out that person.
Solving problems is so cool and makes you feel important in the society, and also gives you a feeling of self-fulfilment. In the bible, David solved the Israelites’ problem by defeating the big monster-Goliath. David is a typical example of a problem solver. Whenever you solve problems you are catapulted to greater levels of glory.
There are things that one is likely to get when he/she solve problems. There are as follows:
1. A good name-when you solve someone’s problem, that person will always speak right things about you.
2. Love and respect-those people whose problems you solve will always cherish, love and respect you because of what you did for them.
3. Reward-when you solve other people’s problems God is pleased with you and He may give you something you desire, even when you’ve not asked for it. After David solved the Israelite’s problem, his family was freed from tax, and he was made rich.
This story is found in the bible in 1 Samuel chapter 17. In your life, choose to be a problem solver and things will go well for you. Well, that’s it for today hey, have a pleasant day. Farai…out!!! Farai is 19 and a former student at Nyatsime College. He is a born again Christian with the desire to see a better generation rise and take over the world. He loves to read.
