Beef flavoured roast potatoes

Potatoes are fantastic. You can never run out of ideas of what to do with them. Here is a simple, economic and delicious variation. You will need six ingredients for this dish and you are good to go.

Ingredients

◆ Three half tablespoons of beef-soup flavour;

◆ 10 medium potatoes, scrubbed;

◆ Three tablespoons cooking oil;

◆ Three cloves garlic, chopped;

◆ 35g cashew nuts;

◆ Two teaspoons parsley

Utensils needed

◆ Bowl;

◆ Tablespoon and teaspoon;

◆ Oven tray;

◆ Heavy-duty foil paper (optional)

 

Instructions

  1. Get all above ingredients together.
  2. Preheat oven at 180 degrees Celsius grill-bake. (This is when both elements are on).

If using gas, line your oven tray with heavy-duty foil paper and set aside.

  1. Cut each potato into quarters and put into a bowl.

Drizzle oil over the potatoes and toss them, ensuring they are well coated with the oil.

  1. Add the garlic and the beef-flavour soup powder.

Toss the potatoes again, ensuring they are all evenly coated with the soup powder.

  1. Put potatoes into oven tray. Roast in pre-heated oven for 45 minutes to an hour.

Sprinkle some cashew nuts and parsley on top of the potatoes. Enjoy with a salad and your preferred meat. — zimbokitchen
