Belgravia host U-21 football tourney

FORMER ZIFA Eastern Region Division One Soccer League side, Prime Rangers, who have since reverted to an academy.

They will be part of the annual Under-21 football tournament, at Belgravia Sports Club, tomorrow. The event, which is the brainchild of BN Academy director Bekhi Nyoni, returns after being halted, due to Covid-19 pandemic. Seven Under-21 teams are expected to take part in the tournament.

They include Prime Rangers, BN Academy, Friendly Academy, Effenberg, Cranborne, DC Academy and Sportsville. The last time the event was held at the same venue, CUMA Academy, which is owned by Cuthbert Malajila, won the tournament. Prime Rangers, who played in Division One, in the 2014 and 2015 season, are now an academy.

Fixtures

Effenberg v Prime Rangers, DC Academy v Friendly, BN Academy v Cranborne, Friendly v Sportsville, Cranborne v Effenberg, DC Academy v Sportsville, Prime Rangers v BN Academy.
